That being said, there weren't really any good dining options, unless you got in your car to take a drive or long stroll. The 'shops' across the street were a closer walk. We had to drive down the road past the overpass which was inconvenient. Cons: The restaurant (which I believe was in the golf clubhouse), and golf course are not directly on the property. Even though we didn't take advantage of the boating, it was nice to see the launch dock right off the water's edge of the property for easy access, and overall, the service that we experienced was excellent. The decor blends perfectly with the lake-side setting and the color choices are soothing to match. The rooms also look very fresh, new and clean. The lobby is lovely and looks fresh, new, and clean. Pros:The property is beautiful and hugs the lake, making for some spectacular views from those rooms facing it. Customer service is obviously a priority with the property management and you don't find that everywhere these days. It's no coincidence that every single person I had interacted with was pleasant, friendly and eager to help. I highly recommend them for an event, or even just to stay there as a guest. Our experience with the Lakehouse Hotel was wonderful. Every person I spoke with was friendly, pleasant, helpful, and went above and beyond to provide assistance. Front Desk: I had several interactions with front desk staff at various times throughout the planning process and also on the day of the event. The rooms were tasteful, updated, clean and very comfortable.

I also stayed at the property the night of the party. Guest Rooms: Our out of town guests raved about the rooms. Food: I received so many compliments on the food! Everyone loved it. We had some unexpected situations arise with some guests and the staff saved the day and made everything ok. They helped us with setup, clean up and everything in-between. Banquet Manager & Staff: They went out of their way to ensure that our guests had a great time. Venue: Lakehouse Pavilion - Beautiful, spacious and perfect. They made sure that we had everything that we needed. Excellent communicators and made the entire process simple and stress-free. Catering Managers: A real pleasure to work with. From each department that we worked with and every staff member to the the venue, the guest rooms and the food.everything was outstanding.

Our experience was phenomenal in every way. We recently held an event for 70 people at the Lakehouse Hotel & Resort.
